JL Tune Delay V2.0

JL Tune Delay offers a simple solution to creating the most musical delays easily.
Delays are one of the deepest wells when it comes to sound design. The sound of recursion can create pyscho-acoustic illusions such as giving the impression of a physical space or a resonating instrument. JL Tune Delay is a simple and accurate tool designed to give you full control of this effect!

Delays are typically used as a static effect which doesn't itself change much. The problem is, that if you want to take advantage of using delays for more musical expression you may spend hours automating by hand and looking up frequency values from a table...

This device uses simple algebra to convert MIDI values into a frequency and then into a millisecond value that informs a delay time for super accurately tuned delay times!

- Stereo & ping-pong modes work like in Abletons delay!
- MIDI transpose allows the user to experiment with different notes and octaves for maximum flexibility in expression.

-Modulation of delay time via a 'frequency' parameter and a specific note parameter
- Alternate tuning systems for detuned sounding delays or alt tuning systems (standard is A=440).
- The filters allow you to dial in the perfect sound for your patch.

- Repitch & Fade modes work like in Abletons delay as well.

- Alternate and classic repitch modes are both available now

-Oscilloscope for informed decision making

-Analog style hyperbolic tangent distortion/overdrive within the feedback loop for preventing infinite accumulation of gain within the loop

-CPU optimization of up to 400% due to a condensed abstraction compared to the previous version

UPDATE V2.0: It's time to evolve! This is my first major update for any device I've built and it's an exciting one. Besides a few major bug fixes, in addition to a sleek new layout, i've added new features including 2 different repitch styles, an oscilloscope for informed decision making and an analog style gain parameter for overdriven feedback loops. Not to mention the ~400% increase in CPU performance due to the development of a specialized abstraction which has been optimized for better memory usage. Lastly, you will have the freedom to break Lives feedback laws by going as high as 120% on the feedback parameter. The JL Tune Delay V2.0 is available now on gumroad as well as on my Patreon for my biggest supporters. If you already have purchased the original tune delay then this update will be free!

Note: This device is not polyphonic, however, in time I plan to release a version which perhaps does support polyphony as well as more cool features!
